What is Private Cloud Computing?
An important model of cloud computing is private cloud based on clear and safe environment in which a particular client can operate. As compare to other model of clouds, computing power as a service will be provided by private clouds within environment of virtualization by using inherent pool of physical computing resource. Even so under the private model of cloud, the cloud (the pool of resource) is only available by a single delegation providing that delegation with greater privacy and control. Private cloud is same like a public cloud because it provides the similar services and advantages like public cloud through architecture of proprietary. The main difference between a public and private cloud is that, a public cloud provides the services to multiple organizations but a private cloud provides services only to a single organization.
It is very hard to define what a private cloud constitutes from an aspect of technicality because the technical mechanism is used to deliver different kinds of services which can be called as private cloud services and can vary substantially. Alternatively these services are normally classified by the characteristics or features that an organization offers to its client. Private cloud is being characterized by a feature of ring fencing of a cloud because of sole use of one organization and because of higher security level. As the main difference between public and private cloud is the provision of services to multiple or single client, the resources are being drawn by the private cloud from the clear and distinct pool of physical resources which might be internally or externally hosted and might be available across leased lines of private or across encrypted secure connections via public networks whereas public cloud is concerned it has multiple clients who access the virtualized services which all draw their resource across public networks and from the same pool of services.
The additive security which is being offered by the ring fenced cloud model is ideal for any organization, which involves enterprise, which needs to process and store the personal data or accomplish the sensitive tasks. For instance, financial company utilizes the private cloud services which require the regulation to store the personal and sensitive data internally and also want to satisfy themselves through the advantages of cloud computing within the infrastructure of their business, like allocation of demand resource.
The private cloud is closer to the LAN (Local Area Network) a traditional model of individual used by the enterprise in the past with the added virtualization benefits and advantages. Therefore the private cloud has the following benefits and features:

Though, through private cloud the level of control on the economies of scale is generated because of having centralized management of hardware.
2 – Higher level of privacy and security: Private clouds use different techniques like specific resources pools which are only be accessed by one organization as restricted to connections, committed leased lines or internal hosting on-site and also private cloud ensures that all the operation and sensitive data is being kept out of the prying eyes. It is more secure and then the public cloud
3 – Energy efficiency and cost: By implementation of private cloud model it improves the allocation of resources through the organization because of ensuring that the accessibility of resources is flexibly and directly responds to their demand as it is provided to individual departments or business. That is why. However as public cloud services they are not as cost effective just because of smaller scale of economies. It increases the management costs and also they do not make the use of computing resource more efficient than customary LAN (local Area Network) as they decrease the investment into unutilized capacity. It reduces an organization’s carbon footprint but also saves the cost.
