Microsoft is Adding Call Recording Feature to Skype After 15 Years Since it is launched
At last Microsoft is adding a call recording feature to Skype. At the end of this month Skype will be updated to incorporate the built-in recording. This latest feature will be cloud-based, enabling you to get to Skype call recordings in all of your devices like Android, Windows, Mac, iOS and even Linux Microsoft’s Skype team explained, “Call recording is completely cloud-based, and as soon as you start recording, everyone in the call is notified that the call is being recorded,”. Furthermore they said, Call recordings combine everyone’s video as well as any screens shared during the call.”
This call recording feature was long awaited since the release of Skype 15 years ago. This is the first time that Skype is going to use the built-in recording feature. The users of Skype had to use different programs to record calls, like Avaer which is one of the popular software. Content Creator Mode is added into the Skype as Microsoft started experimenting this feature as well. The Content Creator Mode will help vloggers, streamers and podcasters to integrate Wirecast, Vmix and Xsplit into Skype without much of an effort.
There are many features coming up this summer for the Microsoft’s Skype app users. The call recording feature is the just the part of the list coming up. Microsoft is also trying to redesign the desktop client with a new mobile like design for it PC users. The call recording function will be ready for the users to use with Skype at the end July. It will make Skype more powerful and famous with this lovely feature.
